• Position: Research and Advocacy Officer
• Location: based in Phnom Penh

RHAC is working on Women Health, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. We work with women, adolescents, garment factory workers, entertainment workers, and other vulnerable groups. We implement our works in 13 provinces in Cambodia, and work closely with relevant government ministries and the development partners.

Summary of the Position:

Research and Advocacy Officer provides support to professionals who are conducting research or gathering and analyzing information and data, including consultancy firm and researchers. S/he participates in the design, administration, logistic and monitoring the progress of each activities of the component. Analyze and assist the evaluation of process of the research consultants to ensure compliance with protocol and overall RHAC’s objectives. S/he actively supports the communication and advocacy activities, and assist Program manager to ensure that all internal and external communication is effectively implemented. In particular, s/he is responsible for the development of advocacy materials, initiatives and translation.

Required Qualification and Experiences:

• Bachelor degree in Social Science, Public Health, or relevant subjects.

• At least 2 years experiences in the field of governance, and advocacy. Possess good knowledge and understanding of social science research, both quantitative and qualitative methods actual research studies and/or advocacy activities is preferable

• Passionate about production of advocacy materials.

• Possibly having knowledge of video and graphic design tools and social media platforms

• Proficient in English and fluent in Khmer with a proven ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Strong communication skills

• Good computer skills: Microsoft Office and design app.
