RHAC has been working on Women and Sexual and Reproductive Health since 1996. We work with adolescents, rural women, garment factory workers, entertainment workers, and other vulnerable groups. We implement our work in 19 out of 25 provinces in Cambodia and work closely with relevant government ministries and development partners. RHAC is now seeking Cambodian candidates to fill the vacant position of Provincial Coordinator of the project “Increased coverage of medical abortion services”, based in Banteay Meanchey.

Main Responsibilities

•The Provincial Coordinator manages the daily implementation of the project implementation in three provinces (Banteay Meanchey, Pursat and Kampong Thom), tracking and monitoring the progress

•Managing the project's workplan and budget; coordinating with stakeholders and local authorities in the three provinces; writing periodic reports for RHAC and donors, managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in public health, or a similar field is desired.

• At least two years of similar experience in managing community health program implementation.

• Knowledge of research methods, both quantitative and qualitative, is required.

• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Government, Ministry of Health officials, and provincial, district and commune authorities.

• Ability to plan, organize, manage and monitor project implementation.  

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are also required.

• Good in English and Khmer (speaking and writing)

• Good computer skills: word (typing Khmer and English), excel, PowerPoint software, etc.
