Position: Communication and Social Media Manager

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The purpose of the position is to improve public awareness of SRHR, advocate on behalf of RHAC's constituents, and increase access to SRHR by RHAC's different beneficiaries through cooperation and collaboration with all RHAC's programs/projects, by using digital technology as well as traditional media as appropriate. Report to Executive Director.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY
Manage RHAC's social media team: ensure that there is a capable and dedicated team through recruitment, capacity building, team building, and providing support. The Communication and Social Media Manager, together with the team members, work to achieve RHAC's social media objectives, coordinate and work cooperatively with all social media staffs under RHAC (under various projects).
Develop Media Platform: continuously review and improve/develop RHAC's media platforms (e.g. Facebook, website, YouTube, other communication Apps, etc.) to ensure that it is effective and responsive to the needs of RHAC's beneficiaries (young people, factory workers, students, rural population, girls and women in general, entertainment workers, LGBT, and other emerging groups).
Promote the use of RHAC's media platform: Develop and implement strategies, work and/or coordinate with other key positions across the organization to increase awareness of RHAC's social media platform among target populations, and increase the use of the platforms. Among the strategies, the Social Media Manager strives to expand and increase virtual outreach to RHAC's beneficiaries.
RHAC's DHI Project: work closely with the Manager of DHI's Project, take lead in all the activities related to digital technology. Train project staff on the use of the digital technology, and work with the staff to increase project's beneficiary knowledge and improve their practices as intended by the project objectives (equivalent to 40% of fulltime efforts)
Monitoring and Evaluation: work with M&E team to ensure that RHAC has system to monitor and evaluate the outputs and impacts of RHAC's social media efforts. Compile report on the outputs and impacts, analyze the data, provide recommendations to project managers, and RHAC's Executive Director to improve RHAC's interventions.
Others: participate with other program managers and staff, e.g., meeting to share information/progress, contribute to RHAC's annual workplan/reports, report to donors as required by DHI Project; and perform duties as sometimes required by the immediate supervisor or the Executive Director.

Have a solid social media team in place
Written six-month summary report on results and outcomes of RHAC's social media work
QUALIFICATION
University degree in media, journalism
Have at least 4 years experiences in leading and/or working with a media team in a medium to large size organizations
Write and speak Khmer and English: Khmer: very good, English: good
Excellent writing skills, knowledge and experience in design, video development, e.g. use of camera/equipment
Knowledge of basic research and marketing
