The Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC), in collaboration with the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP), is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a Baseline Survey for the project aimed at improving maternal and adolescent health through empowering communities and strengthening the primary health system in Stung Treng Province.

Key Objectives of the Consultancy: The selected consultant will conduct a baseline KAP (Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices) survey to assess the current situation of maternal and adolescent health in the region. This survey will evaluate:

• Knowledge related to maternal and adolescent health and available services.

• Attitudes towards maternal and adolescent health services, including access barriers and social norms.

• Health practices and service utilization among women and adolescents.

Scope of Work: The consultant will be responsible for:

1. Designing the survey methodology and tools.

2. Conducting data collection through household surveys, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs).

3. Analyzing the data and preparing a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations.

4. Presenting the findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Proven experience in conducting KAP surveys in maternal and adolescent health.

• Familiarity with the Cambodian health system, particularly in rural areas.

• Fluency in both English and Khmer.

Timeline: The consultancy will last 8 weeks, starting from the contract signing date. Key milestones include:

• Week 1: Submission of inception report.

• Week 2-4: Data collection.

• Week 5-6: Data analysis and draft report preparation.

• Week 7-8: Final report submission and presentation.
