The Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC) is a NGO focusing on Family Health including sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, TB and HIV/ AIDS. It presently works in Phnom Penh, Battambang, Preah Sihanouk, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, Takeo, Mondulkiri and Pailin.
RHAC is seeking suitable Cambodian candidates to fill the following vacancies in a USAID funded project called “Together For Good Health”-(ToGoH).
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to Project Officer, Team Leaders and District Health Facilitators in maternal newborn and child health. * Monitor and supervise the implementation of project activities to ensure that they are being implemented in accordance with the project plan and technical guidelines. * Work in close collaboration with the relevant Provincial and District MCH key persons and RHAC senior staff to provide technical support, especially in problem analysis, priority setting, target setting and project development. * Participate in developing the strategic plan and operational guidelines for the Community Health Program. * Prepare periodic progress reports and work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in ensuring the accuracy of program statistics.
Requirements:
* A Medical Doctor, Medical Assistant or Midwife. * A minimum of three years experience in implementing health projects. * A good knowledge of maternal newborn child health including family health, sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and primary health care,. * Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of health staff. * A working knowledge of written and spoken English. * Good computer skills especially in Word, Excel and Power Point. * Willingness to work flexible hours and to travel in the field.
