The Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC) is a NGO focusing on Family Health including sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, TB and HIV/ AIDS. It presently works in Phnom Penh, Battambang, Preah Sihanouk, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, Takeo, Mondulkiri and Pailin.
RHAC is currently seeking suitably qualified Cambodian candidates to fill the position of:
The Trainer/Service Provider will provide training in RH and Family planning to Health Providers in the public sector for 60% of their time and work as a Service Provider in the RHAC Clinic for 40% of the time.
Main Responsibilities:
• Participate in developing curricula, lesson plans, teaching aids, hand-outs and other training materials with assistance from the Training Officer and Community Health Specialist.
• Collaborate with MCH Trainers of the Provincial Health Departments in the target areas to facilitate the competency training on Family Planning especially long term methods of birth spacing.
• Assist MCH Trainers of Provincial Health Departments to evaluate the training courses.
• Cooperate with the Program Officer of the NRHP in developing and updating national training materials.
• Assist the Training Officer and Community Health Specialist to conduct training assessments and follow up post training activities.
• Provide high quality reproductive health services to clients seeking services at RHAC clinics.
Requirements:
• A Medical Doctor or secondary midwife with clinical experience.
• A minimum of three years experience in providing clinical training in family planning.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with health staff and volunteers.
• A working knowledge of English.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point
• Willingness to work flexible hours and to travel in the field.
